Travel Paris Like a Celebrity
Anne Muraro is the Paris tour guide of choice for A-list celebrities, royals and wealthy clients who are willing pay a lot for her city expertise. She is an art historian and personal shopper who has been arranging for the rich and famous to travel Paris in style since 2000. In designing tours for these clients, she first tries to obtain as much information as she can about their tastes.
For a city tour, she will ask them if they prefer architecture, fine arts, history, etc. and based on their answers she will design their perfect tour. She says that the best way to surprise those clients who have been to Paris many times before is to conduct "off the beaten path" walking tours. Her favorite starts in the gardens of the Palais Royal near the Louvre and leads to the Paris Opera house, through the covered passageways created in the early 19th century. These are classified as national heritage sites with vintage décor including mosaics, glass roofs, and sculptures.
